Well Basil is now either in Sydney or somewhere between Sydney and Goulburn, on his way to have his suspension work done and (fingers crossed) new wheels put on, aswell as aftermarket seats installed (yay! his old ones were rather uncomfortable!)

Not sure how long this will take but when he is done, it will be time for paint :D

I will let you all know what the suspension etc is like when its done. It will be interesting to see Basil lowered aswell :shock: :D

I just took my Dad for his first drive in Buggin tonight, he hated it.

hahah no not slammed - I've never seen a slammed L-bug... :)

He's not being lowered too much but he will still be lower than normal height for an l-bug.

No pics yet but things are underway in Sydney :D I keep thinking of things which need doing (or maybe dont NEED doing but would be cool :lol: )

Our wheels have been picked and paid for and should be shipped this week, and we are considering putting discs on the back while we are at it.
The seat bases are being worked on too, plus some minor engine tinkerings which have apparently made a huge difference already :o

We ordered some new mirrors too, vitaloni california ones which will look great installed I think.

Colour has been picked out (finally) and I *think* we have everything else we need, except maybe a new steering wheel. The one we have is too small and blocks the speedo :oops:
