I hope to make it with the manky little MkI and the she-gnome.

The Octavia will stay at home, as I am a bit scared of people throwing sand at it

We had a very successful day at Wheels 09, a great show of strength by the club and some awesome dubbing conversation.

With some cars coming and going we crept up to a total of 22 cars on the day. Thanks to everyone for coming along and making it the fun event that it was. It was great to catch up with everyone again.

Particular thanks must go to all the helpers who assisted in some way with our display. When we were all feeling fatigued this afternoon it was great to have everyone pitch in to disassemble the display and pack up. It happened very quickly, thanks!

I took a heap of pictures, here are some tempters...more to come during the week. Well done team!

The old and the new....oldest car in the display is this '51 Beetle, beside the youngest - '07 Jetta

Sorry I couldn't make it guys. Found out this morning that the she-gnome has croup, and the smaller he-gnome looks like he will be getting it too :(

Looked like a great day for the show. Hope you guys had some sun cream and a hat on.

Great photos !!! 8)

22, I think that's a record for VWs at the Wheels show 8)

Lots of great cars, Basil looks fantastic, Griffin also looking good with some new details, some new VWs I haven't seen before :P

Tom's favourite VWs were the "lellow car!" and "anudder lellow car!!!"
