As listed in the Coming Events, part of the Nationals weekend is the Super Sprint event, held in Goulburn. Local members who are going to the Nationals have to drive past Goulburn to get to Sydney, we had a larger crowd for the Nat's last year and would love to build on this for 2010. I'd like to organise some local assistance to our Sydney brethren by drumming up some volunteers for the event for 2010. I've sent off for some information on the kinds of tasks they need help with and will publish that here, how about spending a few hours in sunny Goulburn before you trek off to Sydney for the night? Have a think and leave your questions or comments on this thread. With any luck we can find a few people who can afford the time, I'm sure you will enjoy the day! |

I am still trying to get some details on assistance that we can give and hope to post some info back here soon. It would be great if we had some volunteers to help the club with some of their jobs, please try and put some time aside. We're all the same club and I encourage anyone going up to the Nationals to stop in and give a hand. Thanks! |

The club would love some assistance from local members, when we get there on Saturday we will see what spots they have free. You could be able to assist in the pit area, or elsewhere around the track. Assistants will need to be suitably attired (including decent footwear), I would recommend a hat as well. So come on, who is coming to Goulburn to help the event? Or, who will be participating on that note? Not a lot of feedback so far. This is the largest VW event where you can legally put your foot down, come to Goulburn and see what you can really do! Who's coming? |
